We wake up before sunrise and leave the refuge in the dark with headlamps for the final climb. After reaching the summit of Mount Toubkal at 4167 m, we take in the views, then descend back to the refuge and continue all the way down to Imlil. By evening, it’s time to rest, eat well, and enjoy that we really did it feeling.

Guided trek
We leave Marrakech early and drive to Imlil, where our Toubkal trek begins. After breakfast, meeting our certified guides, and a final gear check, we start hiking through the valley. After lunch, we continue the climb to the refuge at around 3200 m. By late afternoon, we arrive, settle in, have dinner, and prepare for summit day.

Yes - absolutely. Many people join solo, and this trip is designed to feel social, supportive, and easy to join even if you’re coming alone.
You don’t need mountaineering experience, but you should have a good basic fitness level and feel comfortable walking for long hours. This is a physically demanding trek, especially because of the altitude.
Previous hiking experience is helpful, but not required. The route is non-technical in normal summer conditions, but it’s still a real challenge, so being active and prepared makes a big difference.
Yes. The trek is led by certified local mountain guides, and the group is supported throughout the experience.
We usually meet at the Marrakech Koutoubia Mosque parking area around 6–7 am, depending on the season and sunrise time. Full meeting details are shared with you before the trip.
Winter (Nov–Mar): Cold! Temperatures often drop below 0°C at night, with snow on higher trails.Spring & Autumn: 5–15°C during the day at altitude, colder at night.Summer (Jun–Sep): 15–25°C in the daytime, but nights remain cool.
You’ll need to bring good trekking shoes, warm layers, a windproof or waterproof jacket, a comfortable backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle.
